'Come and Sing' Mozart's Requiem

A brilliant opportunity for singers of all ages to spend a thoroughly enjoyable day learning and exploring one of the most exciting Choral Works in the repertoire - Mozart's Requiem. With The Choir of Bury Parish Church and The Cosmo Singers of Manchester University.

12.00pm Arrival + Registration
12.30pm Warm-Up
13.00pm Choir Rehearsal
14.30pm Tea Break
15.15pm Rehearsal with Orchestra
17.00pm Dinner Break
19.30pm Concert (Dress Code: All Black)

Tickets to participate cost Full Price £12 and Students/FTE £7. This includes Tea/Coffee/Squash and Cake during the Tea Break, a simple Dinner before the concert and score hire. If you already own a score then please feel free to bring it along (Novello Edition preferred).

We shall end with an evening performance of the Requiem at 7.30pm accompanied by a Chamber Ensemble from Manchester University and the superb Organ of Bury Parish Church. To open the concert, The Cosmo Singers of Manchester University shall be giving a short performance of one of Bach's more well-known Motets 'Jesu, meine Freude' BWV 227, conducted by Robert Brooks. Tickets to attend this concert (for non-participants) are Full Price £5 and Students/FTE £3.
